I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wyoming and Iowa, and have been practicing for almost 20 years. I am certified in EMDR therapy and use methods consistent with ego state, CBT, DBT and mindfulness. I primarily provide services to adult individuals addressing issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD and dissociation. I am available to see clients in person or Telehealth.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and trained in EMDR therapy. I have worked with middle and high school age students, young adults, and individuals seeking supportive therapy in processing different life stressors. I believe in the power of therapeutic services in addressing whole person success. Along with adult services, I have a variety of experience working with youth of all ages with varying unique needs and supporting family relationships. I utilize client-centered therapy techniques including solution focused, CBT, and MI techniques. I am available to see clients in person and through Telehealth.
In life we might have to face obstacles individually, but we should never have to face them alone nor suffer in silence. I view clients as experts in their own lives. The primary focus of my practice is to provide a safe space where together we may we reauthor experiences and find tools for navigating life’s struggles.
I am a provisionally licensed clinical social worker and have worked with all ages in a medical setting. My practice acknowledges that everyone has multiple intersecting identities and that no individual factor (race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, religion, ability, etc.) shapes someone’s experience alone. While using person-centered therapeutic modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I place emphasis on the reciprocal relationship between a person and their environment to create a holistic approach to address life’s stressors. I can see clients in person and on Telehealth.
